Oracle Corp. on Monday launched standalone business intelligence software that that company claims is an all-in-one system for meeting a corporation's analytical requirements.

Oracle Business Intelligence 10g includes query, reporting and analysis with dashboard features; direct access to Oracle OLAP from within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets; and tools for customizing the suite, which uses a streamlined user interface across all its applications, officials with the Redwood Shores, Calif., company said.

Oracle BI 10g is generally available and sells for $20,000 per processor, or $400 per named user. Oracle business intelligence is also included with the Oracle Application Server 10g Enterprise Edition.
